Mr. William Douglas Green, 87, of Gosnell, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Great River Medical Center is Blytheville. Born Sept. 21, 1925, in Obion, Tenn., he was a retired security guard and a member of the Revival Center in Blytheville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jason and Clara Lucindy Hunt Green; his wife, Evie Kennedy Green; one daughter, Mary Louise Green; two sons, Patrick Michael Green and Adam Green; three sisters, Nora Lee Cash, Ceptola Holt and Dorothy Sue Price; and three brothers, Elmer Hubert Green, Hubert Columbus Green and Robert Cecil Green.

He leaves five daughters, Linda Sue (and David) Gordon of Dallas, Clara Bernice (and Donnie) Gray of Armorel, Nancy Viola (and Todd) Brooks of Armorel, Judy J. Green of Gosnell and Amanda Green of Gosnell;

Five sons, William Isaac (and Rita) Green of Marmaduke, Herbert Ray Green of Manila, Hubert Franklin (and Sandy) Green of Gosnell, Terry Eugene Green of Gosnell, and Steve Robert (and Vaneda) Green of Gosnell; and

Twenty-three grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with funeral services set for 11 a.m. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Warman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
