Barbara Ann Pilgrim

Mrs. Barbara Ann Pilgrim, 72, of Luxora, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Born April 18, 1941, in Lepanto, she was a retired factory worker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Washington Carlisle Maddox and Mabel Maddox; her husband, William Pilgrim; her daughter, Peggy Ann Pilgrim; her sisters, Nelda Foster and Billie Sweeney; and three brothers, William Maddox, Junior Maddox and Carl Gene Maddox.

Mrs. Pilgrim leaves three daughters, Mary Catherine Kincaid of Chicago, Frances Akins of Booneville, and Sue Golden of Waterford;

One son, Ricky (and Lore) Pilgrim of Luxora;

Two sisters, Kathy Mason of Lepanto and Mary Nell Edge of Missouri; and

Seventeen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6- 8 p.m. today at the Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Gary Andrews, will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto.
