Sheila Denise Young Jackson

Mrs. Sheila Denise Young Jackson, 33, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was bor Sept. 5, 1979, in Blytheville, to Morris Beverly Young and Betty Jean Manning. She received the Lord at an early age and worked in music ministry from the time she was five years old, going on to minister in song before thousands.

Sheila grew up in Blytheville and graduated from Blytheville High School in 1997. After high school she attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting; a goal which she accomplished within three years. She also continued her education by re-enrolling at ASU where she attained her Master of Business Administration within one year and a half. She worked for several companies as an accountant and began to work for Windstream Communication in 2007, becoming Manager of Revenue Accounting.

Sheila married LeRoy D. Jackson Jr. in 1999 in Jonesboro and they were happily married for thirteen years. She became a Member of the Apostolic Life Center Church in Marvell where she was Worship Ministry Coordinator and in 2012, she and her devoted husband, LeRoy, became the Pastor and First Lady of the Church. Sheila lived her life to please God and help others. She was an inspiration to everyone that was connected to her.

Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Morris Young; great-grandmother, Juanita Cathron; and grandmother, Margie White.

She is survived by her spouse, LeRoy Jackson of North Little Rock;

A daughter, Kristen Danielle Jackson of North Little Rock;

Her Mother, Betty Manning Jones and step-father Tony Jones of Stone Mountain, Ga.;

Her brother, Michael D. Manning of Conyers, Ga.;

Her sister, Donna (Donald) Roshell of Fordyce, AR; and

Nieces and nephews and host of other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 708:30 p.m. Friday at the Apostolic Life Center Church, 1335 Hwy. 49, in Marvell, and also from 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday, April 20 at the church prior to the funeral service, which begins at 11 a.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Kincaid Funeral Services.
