Brenda Ellen Woolverton Pierson

Mrs. Brenda Ellen Woolverton Pierson, 69, of Evansville, Ind., died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Cyprus Grove Rehabilitation Center in Newburg, Ind. She was a homemaker and was a member of Assembly of Faith Church in Evansville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Anna May Woolverton; four brothers, Joe Elbert, Paul Ray, James Houston and Billy Joe Woolverton.

She leaves her husband, Fredrick B. Pierson, of Evansville;

Two sons, Troy and Frederick Pierson of Evansville;

Four sisters, Virginia Lois Richardson of Hoopston, Ill., Betty Jean Younce of Lawton, Okla., Peggy Sue Spears of Fordyce, Ark., and Phyllis Lynn Isom of Jonesboro; and

Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, Ky., with the Rev. Brenda Steproe officiating. Burial will be in Caseyville Cemetery in Caseyville, Ky. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
