Anita Frances Tippy

Anita Frances Tippy, 65, of Jonesboro, passed from this life Sunday, March 17, 2013, at NEA Baptist Hospital.

Born in Friendship, Tenn., to Alvin Earl and Iva Irene Holmes Prichard, she was retired office manager for McCaul Tire in Paragould and was of the Baptist faith.

Anita graduated with the Blytheville High School Class of 1965. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved to work in her yard and flower beds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Tippy; and a brother, Alvin Earl Prichard Jr.

Anita is survived by her children, Deanna Newell and husband, Art, of Black Rock and Charles (Bo) Tippy and wife, Katherine, of Pocahontas; and

Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
