Elizabeth Nadine Crotts, 92, of the Clear Lake Community, passed from this life Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at her home. Known to everyone as Nadine, Mrs. Crotts was born in the Huffman community near Armorel, to Walter and Lillian Hatley Kirk. She was a homemaker who, along with her husband, Algie Crotts, worked their farm diligently to provide for their family. She was a part of a special generation whose faith in God, solid work ethics, and love for family brought them through some pretty tough times.

Mrs. Crotts attended the Clear Lake Baptist Church and always looked forward to attending every time she possibly could.

Mrs. Crotts was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Jimmy Crotts; a daughter, Fannie Dickerson; a granddaughter, Lisa Renee Helms; and great-grandson, Gregory Rush.

Mrs. Crotts is survived by her daughters, Reba Helms of Clear Lake, Barbara Green and her husband, Charles, of Titusville, Fla., Leda Young of Little Rock;

A special great-grandson, Franklin Junior Helms Jr. who resided at the home; and

Seventeen grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Dogwood Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Duhon and Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Monday at Cobb Funeral Home. You may express condolences to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com
