Dates set in local court cases

Thursday, January 3, 2013

The three Tillman men being charged in the severe beating of an Osceola man in October appeared in court last week for pleas and arraignment.

Chad Tillman and Jeremy Tillman are being charged with first-degree battery, and Harvey Joe Tillman is being charged with aggravated assault. The three will appear back in court for plea and motion dates on Jan. 29, and have a trial date of Feb. 4.

Blytheville teachers Ashley Wolfe and Jessica McCormick, both arrested in November, have not yet been filed on. Prosecutors are waiting on final information from investigators at the Blytheville Police Department. Both have been rescheduled for plea and arraignment dates on Jan. 31. Wolfe is facing charges involving alleged sexual relationships with two high school students, and McCormick is facing charges on having a handgun on campus at the primary school.

Also returning to court for pleas and arraignment on Jan. 31 will be Deanthony Perry. The prosecutor's office has recently filed charges against Perry for two counts of commercial burglary and two counts of theft, connected to copper thefts from Entergy Arkansas property in August.
