Elijah Chayil Cook, 3 months, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012. He was born Aug. 21, 2012, to Ashley Nichole Cook and Gary Lynn Cook Jr. of Jonesboro.

He was a bundle of joy, not only to his parents, but for anyone he was around. He was a beautiful child and everyone who saw him wanted to hold him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Gary Cook III of Greenville, Miss., Shalom Cook of Blytheville and Sadarious Cook of Jackson, Miss.;

Three sisters, Reygan Guerrero and Cameron Guerrero of Jonesboro, and Ranesha Cook or Greenville, Miss.;

His grandparents, Judy and Michael Burns Sr., Gary Cook Sr., and David and Caprice Cox, all of Blytheville;

His godparents, Perry and Renea' Davis;

Pastors Raymond and Mary Golphin; and

Many other family members, friends and church members.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Carney Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Frontline Family Outreach Ministries, with Pastor Raymond Golphin officiating. Burial will be in Carney Cemetery, 1501 Byrum Road in Blytheville.
