Georgia Elizabeth Cummings

Mrs. Georgia Elizabeth Cummings, 89, of Blytheville, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in Blytheville. Born Sept. 12, 1923, in Earle, she was a homemaker and a member of St. James Baptist Church in Earle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Settles and Nobia Settles; her husband, Tom Cummings; her daughter, Elizabeth Herrod; and her brothers, Jefferey Settles, T. Settles and Charlie Settles.

Mrs. Cummings leaves six daughters, Alma Jean Cummings, Charlene Cummings and Mary Cummings of Queens, Dorothy Cuffe of Fairfield, Georgia Cummings of Earle, and Annie Myles of Osceola; and

Sixteen grandchildren and a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Joe Brooks Jr., will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
