Ruthie Mae Jones

Mrs. Ruthie Mae Jones, 70, of Blytheville, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta. Born Dec. 17, 1941, in Lewisburg, she was a retired factory worker and a Pentecostal.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Tunstall and Ora McKinney Williams; her husband, Jessie Jones; three sisters, Betty Lou Williams, Delores Williams and Betty Burnes; and one brother, Eddie Tunstall.

Mrs. Jones leaves three daughters, Lorette (and Eric) Beard and Sandra (and Tony McCladdie) Jones of Augusta and Elaine Jones of Harlem;

Three sons, Tracy (and Marla) Jones, Benjamin (and Kim Stanley) Jones and Henry Antwoine Jones, all of Augusta;

Three sisters, Annie (and Johnnie) Brown, Mary Burton, and Willie (and Henry) Mays, all of Blytheville;

Seven brothers, Earnest (and Dorothy) Tunstall, Jerry Williams, James (and Debbie) Williams and David (and Janice) Williams, all of Blytheville, Tommy Williams Jr. of Chicago, George (and Annie) Tunstall of Memphis, and Leroy (and Alice) Williams of Kansas City; and

Eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by Bishop Henry Mays, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
