To the editor:

I sent the following letter to Chief Ross Thompson and I would also like to let the public know about these two officers serving the City of Blytheville.

Greetings Chief Thompson;

My name is Wanda L. Linscomb and I want to tell you about two of your CID officers.

One is Detective J.T. Harris, and the other was Detective Farrell.

On Nov. 21, 2012, my husband and I went to the CarQuest (Delta Auto Parts) store to dispose of two motorized power chair batteries. I took the batteries out of the trunk of my car and took them inside. I took about two steps and started falling. There was a step up to get into the main store. I did not see this step, however, and down I went. Having a battery in each hand, I could not even start to catch myself. My nose crushed first and then my forehead.

I looked up and there were two men with badges on their belts, and they helped me to be able to get up off the floor, and they called for an ambulance for me immediately! They stayed right there with me until the ambulance got there! I felt so safe and taken care of by them! I was bleeding and they got paper towels for me to catch the blood. I appreciate them so much!

Please tell them how grateful that I am for their help and showing that they care. Super dectives -- that's what they are!

Thanking you all so much!
