Bettie Lois (Richardson) McDaniel

Mrs. Bettie Lois (Richardson) McDaniel, 70, of Gosnell, passed from this life Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at St Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Holland, Mo., to James Franklin and Geneva (Menser) Richardson, she was a retired warehouse inventory clerk for Bush Canning Company of Blytheville and was of the Pentecostal faith. Bettie was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, Nana and great-grandma and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence McDaniel; a daughter, Donna Gail McDaniel; a sister, Frankie Boles; and a brother, Jerry Richardson.

Bettie is survived by her son, Randy McDaniel and wife, Pat, of Armorel;

A daughter, Cassie Wilson and her husband, Carl of Gosnell;

Grandsons Jordan Wilson and wife, Callie, Josh Wilson, Jeremy Wilson and J.D. Wilson;

Granddaughters Destiny Metheny and Taylor McDaniel;

A great granddaughter, Natalie Wilson;

Her sisters, Virgie Barrentine and husband, Graham, of Missouri, Pat Summers and husband, Jerry, of Blytheville, Geraldean Simpson of Gosnell and Judy Davis and husband, Danny, of Bono;

A brother, Rick Richardson and wife, B.J., of Missouri;

Ten nephews;

Twelve nieces; and

She enjoyed a special bond with one niece, Jennifer Nutt of Maryland.

Bettie will especially be missed by her beloved Chihuahua, Pixie.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until time for service Monday. In lieu of flowers, Bettie requested donations be made to St. Bernard's Medical Center because of the great care she always received there.
