Brenda Sue Guge

Brenda Sue Guge, 57, of Leachville passed from this life, Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 at her home. Born in St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Vondella Tinsley Guge and was a former resident of Granite City, Ill. She had been a Leachville resident for the past 40 years and was a retired truck driver. Brenda was of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by:

Her daughter, Monica Edgin of Leachville;

Her father and step-mother, Sam Guge, Sr. and his wife Sandy of Caseyville, Ill.;

One brother, Sam Guge, Jr. of Leachville;

Two sisters, Karen Ballard of Granite City, Ill., and Lucy Guge of Granite City, Ill.

Brenda also leaves 4 grandchildren, Britany Thacker, Kristina Thacker, Breanna Thacker, and Rachael Thacker.

Funeral service will be 11a.m. Tuesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Lee Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery.
