Patsy Ann Bishop

Mrs. Patsy Ann Bishop, 62, of Marked Tree, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2021, in Marked Tree. Born Jan. 25, 1950, in Marked Tree, she was a homemaker and a member of Red Oak Baptist Church in Marked Tree. The daughter of the late James Franklin Laster and Mary Ramone Long, she was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Abigail Diane Bishop; and a daughter, Brenda Sue Bishop.

She leaves her husband, J.P. Bishop of Marked Tree;

Four sons, Joe, James and Billy Bishop of Marked Tree and J.P. Bishop Jr. of Trumann;

Two sisters, Norma Jean Carter of Lepanto and Sue Carpenter of Payneway;

A brother, Kenneth Laster of Lepanto; and

Nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m. today at Red Oak Baptist Church with funeral services following at 2 p.m. at the church with Bro. Larry Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Nichols Cemetery in Marked Tree with Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza in charge of services.
