Sarah Lee Woodruff
Mrs. Sarah Lee Woodruff, 80, of Blytheville, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. Born July 18, 1932, in Sandy Ridge, she was a homemaker and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hill and Easter Manolia Vanhook Hill; her husband, Walter Woodruff; her daughter, Gloria Moore; her sister, Vernell Toliver; and four brothers, Willie Hill, Roosevelt Hill, Sam Lee Hill and Vancen Hill.
Mrs. Woodruff leaves one daughter, Carmelita Fennell of Blytheville;
Four sons, Sunny Moore Jr., Nathaniel Moore Sr., Walter Woodruff Jr., and Robert Lee Woodruff, all of Blytheville;
One brother, Junior Hill of Blytheville; and
Eleven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Frederick Clay, will be held directly following the visitation at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
