Mr. Daniel Leon Robertson, 91, of Blytheville, passed from this life Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born to Thomas and Parlee Hayes Robertson in Broseley, Mo., he was the owner of Robertson TV service for 52 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Blytheville, where he was a devoted member of the Men's Fellowship Sunday School Class. Leon served his country in the U.S. Navy, being deployed to the South Pacific during World War II. He was a Mason, a member the American Legion, the VFW and was a volunteer for the Blytheville Fire Department for 24 years. He was an avid crappie fisherman and hunter. Leon was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Sue Robertson, and his sisters, Ester Morgan and Estelle McGee.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet Boyd Robertson of the home;

His children, Bobby Robertson and (Tamra) of Jonesboro, Lynn Robertson and (Dianne) of Benton;

His grandchildren, Chris Robertson and Casey Robertson, both of Jonesboro;

His step-granddaughter, Amanda Bragg of Benton; and

His brother, Lawrence Robertson and (Marie) of St. Louis.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Steve Baillio and Mr. Bill Sullivan officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Cobb Funeral Home.
