Mildred Johnson

Mrs. Mildred Johnson, 77 of Blytheville, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, in Jonesboro. Mildred was preceded in death by A.Z. Johnson, her husband of 55 years. She attended Harrison High School before moving to Chicago.

She leaves seven children, Allen (and Theressa), Vanessa, Renetta Jordan, Van, Eddie (and Kim), Orson, Anatavius (and Semelda);

Nine grandchildren, Anatavisus, Renetha, Akeem, Britton, Anthony, Kenneshia, Naheela, Nasir and Nadia,;

Three great-grandchildren, Jelani, Ayanna, and Armani;

Five sisters-in-law, Levada of Blytheville, Dorothy, Henrietta and Armazell, all of Chicago, Louvenia of Texas;

Six brothers-in-law, Frank, Pete, Henry and Otis, all of Chicago, Eddie of Texas and Hubert of Oklahoma;

One son-in-law, Michael Jordan of Chicago; and

A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at noon Friday in Collins Chapel with visitation from 11 a.m.-noon. Bishop Randy Crenshaw will officiate. Burial will follow in Whiteside Memorial Garden in Osceola. Grant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Flowers may be sent to Collins Chapel.
