Mr. Triston Shariff Taylor Sr., 32, Los Angeles, formerly of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012. He was born Sept. 15, 1979, in Blytheville, to Evelyn Taylor and Willie Jones. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of the late C.W. Coggs of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles.

Mr. Taylor attended East Jr. High School in Blytheville, and later relocated to Los Angeles, where he was a 1997 graduate of Washington Prepatory High School. "Tritter" had much love for his family and friends. He had an encouraging word for all who crossed his path. He had a great love for cars and was a member of the El Camino Car Club, "Hard in the Paint." Triston also worked for Team BP for several years.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, T. W. Taylor Sr.; his uncles, Jesse Hampton Sr., and C. W. Taylor; and a cousin, Jeffery Hampton.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Evelyn Taylor, of Los Angeles;

His father, Willie Jones of Osceola;

A beloved friend, Rickona Wilson aka "Precious;"

His sons, Triston Shariff Taylor Jr. and Trevor Sean Taylor;

His daughter, Treasure Sherese Taylor, all of Los Angeles;

Five brothers, Richard Worley of Los Angeles, Toboria Jones, Willie Jones Jr., Rueben Jones and Taylor Day, all of Osceola;

Three sisters, Tori Jones, Chemaka Jones and Renada Williams, all of Osceola;

His grandmother, June Taylor, of Blytheville;

Five aunts, Bobbie W. Hampton, Dorothy (and Calvin) Clark, Juanita Taylor and Linda Mathis, all of Blytheville, and Gloria Taylor of Los Angeles;

Two uncles, T. W. "Tommie" Taylor Jr., of Blytheville and David (and Evelene) Taylor of Columbia, S.C.; and

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he loved all the same.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New St. Paul Baptist Church, 515 E Sawyer in Blytheville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until services begin.
