Jerry A. Musser, 75, of Blytheville died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at St. Vincent's Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock, AR.

Born in Bremen, Ind. to Paul Andrew and Venus Irene Ponader Musser, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, attended Valparaiso Technical Institute and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the choir, played the base fiddle for the praise band and was a member of the Methodist Men and was a charter member of the St. Luke's Methodist Church in Kansas City, Mo.

Jerry was a member of the Blytheville Lions Club and a former member of Kiwanis Club. He was very active in his children's Little League, basketball, band, drama and choir activities. Jerry performed with the Red Cross Murder Mysteries, Act II and also with the Blytheville Very Little Theatre, where he had served as president and board member. He enjoyed boating and water skiing and loved pulling his grandchildren in a wagon with his lawn mower.

Jerry was co-owner and operator of Jeri-Lin Donuts and brightened the mornings of so many for years in Blytheville. He was lovingly referred to as the Donut Man, Santa Claus, the Dough Boy and Mr. Lin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tom P. Musser.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda Lunbeck Musser, of the home; children, Bob Musser and wife, Jenny of Winter Park, Fla. and Laura Martin and husband Brent of Blytheville; sister, Barbara Lou Martino of Anderson, Ind.; five grandchildren, Bobby Musser Jr of Orlando, Fla., Michael Paul Musser of Ft Stewart, Ga., Andrea Musser Young of Rockwood, Tenn., Sarah Martin and Hannah Martin, both of Blytheville and seven great grandsons, Joshua Bullock, Brandon Bullock, Zakeriyuh Young, Nikolas Young and Lukas Young, all of Rockwood, Tenn. and Mason Musser and Ethan Musser, both of Ft. Stewart, Ga.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Blytheville with Dr. Don Hall officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 3, 2012, from 3-5 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home. Interment will be Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 1 p.m, in Malta Bend Cemetery with Pastor Crystal Karr officiating in Malta Bend, Mo.
