Roy Edward Middlebrook

Mr. Roy Edward Middlebrook was born Oct. 29, 1949, in Joiner, to Pauline and Lonnie Middlebrook Sr.

The family moved to Blytheville in 1950. He attended Harrison High School and was a member of the class of 1968.

Roy was baptized at St. Paul Missionary Church under the leadership of Rev. Harold Luter where he was a member. He departed this life Sunday, April 25, 2012, at Meramout hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He was employed at the Cleveland Water Company and was an entrepreneur as well as a previous employee of the Kirby Vacuum Company in Cleveland.

He also leaves his grandchildren Martessa Pauline, Treviana and Marlon of Cleveland. He was preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie Middlebrook Jr.; and a sister Joann Taylor.

He leaves in memory his daughter Tamika Randall, and one son Trevis Sutton of the home.

He also leaves his siblings Mary Louise (and Oscar) Brooks, of Urbana, Ill., Monroe (and Earnestine) Ward of West Memphis, Dorothy (and Melvin) Milner of Cleveland, Lee Ethel (and John Henry) Jones of Benton Harbor, Mich., James (and Shirley) Middlebrook, Shirley (and Terry) Marshall, and Rochester Taylor of Blytheville; Aunt Easter (and Verge) Washington of Memphis, and Sam (and Mae) Middlebrook and Roxie (and Walter) Middlebrook of Cleveland; and

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be under the direction of Pernel Jones and Sons Funeral Home at 7120 Cedar Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio 44103.
