Mrs. Dorothy Williams, 68, of Blytheville, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

She was born in Osceola and lived in this area all of her life. She was an employee of Borg-Warner Manufacturing Company. She was a very industrious person and hand many ventures at her residence at the corner of Ash and Franklin streets.

She was a member of New Hope Church in Yarbro and served as church secretary and co-chairperson of the New Hope Cemetery Memorial Committee and various other auxiliaries of the church.

Survivors are her five daughters, Mrs. Debra (James) Byais, Ms. Regina Anderson, Ms. Patricia Anderson, Ms. Dorothy "DeeDee" Anderson and Mrs. Latasha (L.C. Jr.) Jackson, all of Blytheville;

Two sons, Willie Anderson of Houston, Texas, and Corey Williams of Blytheville,

Two sisters, Mrs. Othella Holmen of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Mrs. Margaret Pegues of Chicago;

Twelve step-children, Mrs. Mackie Vernado, Mrs. Patsy Johnson, Mrs. Jackie Simmons, Mrs. Gloria Ortiz, Mrs. Lillie Williams, Mrs. Barbara Wilson, Mrs. Annette Daniels, Charlie Robinson, Joe Williams, Jessie Mack Williams, Billy Williams and John Williams; and

Twenty grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, neices, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Odale Jones and the Rev. Charles Jackson, pastor. Bishop Randy Crenshaw of New Hope Church will be the eulogist. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Yarbro. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home in Blytheville.
