Kelly Gene Walters

Mr. Kelly Gene Walters, 65, of Blytheville, died Monday, March 12, 2012, in Blytheville. Born March 25, 1946, he was in the United States Marines and served two tours in Vietnam. He worked as the shop foreman for many years at Littrell Ford and was a crane operator at JMS.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Walters; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Eris Stricklin.

Mr. Walters leaves his wife, Cris Walters of Blytheville;

One brother, Joe Stricklin and his wife Song of Cape Girardeau, Mo.;

Two neices, Stacy and Susan; and

A host of special friends.

A private memorial with military honors was held with the Rev. Ike Brighton officiating. Memorials can be made to the Blytheville Humane Society or the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
