Mrs. Dorothy J. Dingler, 82, a resident of Mountain Home, passed peacefully Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, in Mountain Home with family at her side.

She was born Dec. 21, 1929, in Tomato to the late Louis and Fannie Lucille Butler Malone. Dorothy married Max Milford Dingler Sept. 8, 1945, in Blytheville. Dorothy's hobbies were gardening, especially roses, cooking and most importantly her family.

Mrs. Dingler was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Arvil, Virgil and Leon Malone; a daughter-in-law, Judy Dingler; and a granddaughter, Dawn Kirkland.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Max Dingler of Mountain Home;

Two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry Dingler of Sycamore, Ill., and Maxie and Alissa Dingler of Houston, Texas;

Three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Louise and Jerry Stancil and Diane and Barny Novotny of Mountain Home and Juanita "Nita" and James Srkala of Katy, Texas;

A brother and sister-in-law, Marshall "Tink" and Inez Malone of Blytheville;

Seven grandchildren, Scarlet Brady of Malta, Ill., Rob Kirkland of New Port Richey, Fla., Wendi Kirkland of Lindenhurst, Ill., Melanie (and Mike) Beam of Mountain Home, Crystal Novotny of Mountain Home, James Srkala of Spring, Texas, and Ashley Dingler of Houston;

Seven great-grandchildren;

The family dog, Tasha; and

Other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Hughes officiating. Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery near Mountain Home under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Frank Malone, Barny Novotny, Jerry Stancil, James Srkala, Mike Beam and Donald Malone.
