Calvin White Sr.

Mr. Calvin White Sr., 55, of Joiner, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, in Jonesboro. Born to Lula White of Osceola, he was a lab technician.

Mr. White leaves four daughters, Kala Word of Newark, Del., Chasity Bedford-Band of Middletown, Del., Shaquita White of Chicago and Marqueeta White of Racine, Wis.;

Two sons, Calvin White Jr. and Tydis White of Chicago;

Seven sisters, Shirley Love of Maywood, Ill., Bettie Partee and Barbara Mosley of Marion, Carolyn Tyler of Tyronza, Delois Washington of Joiner and Emma Robinson and Debra Ricketts of Pittsburg, Pa.;

Two brothers, Leon White Jr. of Osceola and Jackie Dancy of Atlanta; and

Eighteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Joiner. Burial will follow at Rivercrest Garden in Marie. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wolfe Bro. Funeral Home in Blytheville.
