Terry Curtis Brackin

Mr. Terry Curtis Brackin, 53, of Gosnell, passed away at his home Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012. Born June 15, 1958, Terry was the eldest son of Linda Watkins and Curtis Brackin, who preceded him in death. Terry was known by all for his passion for music. He loved to play his guitar and sing. He was also an avid fisherman, and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Terry was the kind of man to put a smile on your face. He had a presence about him that always put him in the center of attention. He was a jokester, and loved to laugh. Terry will be missed by a host of friends and family. We love you, Terry! There will never be another like you.

He leaves three children, Brandon Brackin of Jonesboro, Shawna Brackin of Dyersburg and Alaina Brackin of Gosnell;

Three grandchildren, David Brackin and Remington and Keira Gilmore, who were the lights of his life; and

Two siblings, Steve Brackin of Blytheville and Christie Bolar of Leachville.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at the Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by Lavern Holbrooks and Mike Richardson, will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday.
