Jodie Marie Kummer Robinson

Mrs. Jodie Marie Kummer Robinson, 37, of Forrest City, formerly of Bald Knob, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012. She was born Oct. 2, 1974 in Helena.

Jodie enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. She graduated from Arkansas State University with a bachelors in Music Education. She was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority and was an accomplished teacher and musician. "Ms. Jodie" was adored by her loving students. She loved the Dallas Cowboys. In her heart she was their number one fan! Jodie was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Bald Knob.

Jodie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Kummer Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. John Sizemore.

She leaves her husband, Phillip Robinson, formerly of Blytheville;

Her parents, William and Johnita Kummer;

A brother, Benjamin Kummer;

Two nieces, Bailey and Meadow Kummer; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and friends. She is also survived by her beloved pets, Abbie, Land-O, Pumpkin, and Cornflake.

Jodie was a huge animal lover. Most of her pets were orphans she found that had been abandoned.

Her funeral was Sunday, Jan. 15 at the Central Baptist Church in Bald Knob. Arrangements were by Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. The family has requested any donations go to The Bald Knob Fine Arts and Music Camp; send to Bald Knob Fine Arts Council, PO Box 531, Bald Knob, AR 72010.
