Patricia Green Butler

Mrs. Patricia Green Butler, 87, of Osceola, passed away at her home Friday, Dec. 23, 2011. She was born Sept. 8, 1924, in Blytheville, to the late Carl and Iva Jarbou Green. Patty was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She attended the University of Arkansas, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She continued to cheer for the Razorbacks until her final days.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents and by her beloved husband, Ben.

Patty was an active member of St. Matthew Catholic Church from the time of her marriage. She was involved in charity organizations, including The PEO Sisterhood (past President), and the Osceola Junior Auxiliary (past President).

She leaves her children, Frank Butler III (and Jaylene) of Little Rock, Tricia Butler Feilke (and David) of Stuttgart, Michael Butler (and Julie) of Memphis, and Bob Butler (and Debbie) of North Little Rock.

Mrs. Butler's pride and joy were her seven grandchildren, Brooke Butler White (and Jacob) of Little Rock, Ben Butler IV (and Katherine) of Little Rock, Matthew Feilke (and Sally) of Stuttgart, Jason Feilke (and Lauren) of Little Rock, Patrick Feilke (and Linzay) of Little Rock, Will Butler (and Lydia) of Memphis, and Ann Butler of Memphis.

She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec, 26, at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Osceola. Burial followed at Ermen Cemetery. Roller-Swift Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The American Cancer Society.
