Paul Wayne Carter

Mr. Paul Wayne Carter, 74, of Cardwell, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at his home. Born in Cardwell, he was the son of the late Paul Alley and Amy Iva Lee Burcham Carter, was a 1955 graduate of Cardwell High School, and served in the U. S. Army. He was a retired manager of MFA Agri Service in Bernie, Mo., and a longtime member of the Antioch Church of Christ near Cardwell.

He leaves his wife, Annette Woolard Carter of the home;

His daughter, Phyllis Rogers and her husband, Brett, of Vilonia; and

Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Mr. David Flanery officiating. Burial will follow in Cardwell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Hounsel, Nathan Summitt, Cliff Cupp, Keith Milligan, Bobby Peel and Noah Flanery. Honorary pallbearers will include Norman Jamison and Jesse Summitt.
