Mrs. Patricia Davis, 72, of Manila, widow of Ben Davis, died early Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at her home. Born in the Lost Cane community, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Viola Young Owens. She was a lifelong Manila area resident and a 1957 graduate of Manila High School. For many years she operated Ms. Pat's Day Care in Manila and was also employed as a cashier at Fred's Dollar Store. Mrs. Davis was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church.

She leaves her husband, Ben Davis of Manila;

One son, Tony Davis of Jonesboro;

One daughter, Toshya Moore of Jonesboro; and

Four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and was expecting another great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. Allen Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.
