Jewel Anderson

Mrs. Jewel Anderson, 87, of Blytheville, passed from this life into the presence of her heavenly father Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at her home.

Born in Blytheville to Joe and Hattie Miller Wicker, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her children and enjoyed working in her home. Jewel was the former owner of Anderson Pecan Company and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmie" Anderson; two brothers, Melvin and Marvin Wicker; and two sisters, Opal McCormick and Paulene Tarburton.

She leaves her children, a son, Ronnie Anderson;

A daughter, Donna Corwin and husband, Jeff;

A granddaughter, Christie Corwin;

A great-granddaughter, Kaylee Corwin, all of Blytheville; and

A sister, Charlene Brown of Norwalk, Calif.
