Mrs. Virginia Roark, 80, of Luxora, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. Born in Haywood County in Tennessee, the daughter of Floyd Lumley and Leona Wilson, she lived most of her life in Luxora, where she was a seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Novella Roark; one brother, Billy Wilson; one step-daughter, Billie Jean Roark; and her husband of 23 years, Joe Bill Roark.

Mrs. Roark leaves two daughters, Jo Ann Baszkiewicz and son-in-law Ed Baszkiewicz of South Boston, Mass., and Vanessa Chun and son-in-law Tracy Chun of Blytheville. She also leaves two step-daughters, Judy Bynum of Magnolia, Texas, and Shirley Lapa of Blytheville;

Three brothers, Bobby Wilson and wife, Patsy, of Osceola, Bruce Bledsoe and wife, Janet, of Conway, and T.J. Warren of Russellville;

One sister, Peggy Walls and husband, Billy, of Armorel; and

Six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola, followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service. Burial will be held in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Floyd Porter officiating. An online guest book is available at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
