Edward Almus Ross Marshall

Mr. Edward Almus Ross Marshall, 86, of Wilson, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, at Heritage Gardens in Senath. Born Feb. 18, 1925, in Akron, Ark., to the late Edward Judson and Sallie Marshall, he was retired military and a WWII veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Maggie Dingler, Betty Jo queen, June Clark and Carrie Marshall; and one step-son, Keith Berry.

Mr. Marshall leaves his wife, Reida Berry Marshall of Wilson;

Three daughters, Martha Herrin, Bonnie Baxter and Lindy Verduzco;

Five step-daughters, Barbara Astle, Teresa Newman, Margaret Raymond, Regina McCain and Karen Peake;

Two sons, Robert Marshall and William Marshall;

One step-son, Paul Berry;

Three sisters, Katrina Wisdom, Virginia Cress and Victoria Cox;

Five brothers, Charles Marshall, William Marshall, Daniel Marshall, John Marshall and Don Marshall; and

Twenty-eight grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Charles Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Millington, Tenn. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
