Louelle Mattie Morgan

Louelle Mattie Morgan, 80, of Smithville, died of heart failure on Oct. 14, 2011 in her home. Born April 21, 1931 in Florence, she was a retired factory worker and a Pentecostal.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lettie Green, one sister, Edith Bray, and four brothers, Robert Greene, Edgar Greene, Tedford Greene and William Greene.

Ms. Morgan leaves two daughters, Eva Morgan Tunstall of Sulpher Rock and Lou Morgan Gentry of Brandon;

Four sons, Roy Lee Morgan of Smithville, Clifton Ray Morgan of Lenex Township, James Walter Morgan of Garnette and Robert Earl Morgan of Batesville;

Two brothers, Edward Greene of Smithville and Bedford "Judd" Greene of Tyronza;

21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011 at the Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Funeral services, also held at the funeral home and officiated by Bro. Boyd Hosman, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Burial will follow at Tyronza Cemetery.
