Chris Brown

Mr. Chris Brown, 53, of Bowling Green , Ky., passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at the Medical Center at 8:05 p.m. He was the son of the late John and Ruth Brown of Blytheville. Chris was a proud member of Oakland Baptist Church. He was a salesman at Office Depot; his hobbies included fishing and golf. Chris loved his family and enjoyed spending time with each of them.

He leaves his wife, Darlene Brown;

A son, Chris M. Brown, and his fiancée, Michelle Cox of Smiths Grove, Ky.

A daughter, Heather (and Todd) Causey of Bowling Green, Ky.;

A brother, Ronnie (and Judy) Brown of Maple Shades, N.J.;

Three sisters, Mary Ellen (and Richard) Thornton of Adel, Ga., Sherry Watson of Jonesboro, and Teressa (and Sam) White of Blytheville; and

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at J.C. Kirby and Son Lover's Lane Chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday until time of services at the funeral home. On line condolence may be made at http://www.jckirbyandson.com
