Odell Shields Jr.

Mr. Odell Shields Jr., 53, of Blytheville, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011.

He was a landscaper and a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist. Church.

He leaves his wife, Sara Shields of Blytheville;

His parents, Odell Shields Sr. and Hattie Shields of Blytheville;

Two daughters, Donna Warren of Blytheville and Donya Warren of Burgaw, N.C.;

One son, Ronnie Woodard of Rockford, Ill.;

Three sisters, Atlanta (and Larry) Gulledge Sr. of Denver, Col., Gloria (and Jerome) Bogan and Judy (and Ernest) Murphy of Marion;

One brother, Rickey Shields (and NaTasha) of Memphis;

Three grandchildren, Sirena Tankersley and Sierra Crawford of Blytheville and LaDonay Simmons of Burgaw, N.C.; and

Two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Bro. Fred Baugh and the Rev. Gilbert Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
