Lillie Beatrice Jones

Mrs. Lillie Beatrice Jones, 73, of Joiner, died of heart failure Aug. 9, 2011, at NEA Baptist in Jonesboro. Born July 30, 1938, in Birdsong, she was a Certified Nursing Assistant and a cafeteria worker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Bertha Mae Jones; her husband Leroy Jones; her son Larry Jones; three sisters, Lucille Reynolds, Verna Mae Smith and Mary Frances Thomas; and two brothers, Freddie Anderson and Ricky Nash.

Mrs. Jones leaves her daughter, Robin Byrd of Osceola;

Two sisters, Helen (and James) Weems and Lexie (and Phil) Bosquet of Saginaw, Mich.;

Three brothers, Reginald (and Phyllis) Jones of Memphis, Jesse Jones of Detroit and Eddie (and Charlotte) Anderson of Chicago; and

Six grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Monday 15 at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Evadale.
