Leon T. 'Tom' Malone

Mr. Leon T. "Tom" Malone, 89, of Blytheville, passed from this life Monday, July 18, 2011, at Heritage Square Nursing Center. Born in Tomato to Lewis Marshall and Fannie Lucy (Harshman) Malone, Mr. Malone spent his life farming and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Dortha Jewell (Shea) Malone.

He leaves his brother, Marshall Malone and his wife, Inez, of Blytheville;

A sister, Dorothy Malone Dingler and her husband, Max, of Mt. Home; and

A host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be emailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net
