Velma May Kathleen 'Ann' Dyer

Velma May Kathleen "Ann" Dyer, 87, of Memphis, passed from this life Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Quince Health Care in Memphis. Born in Junction City, Tenn., to Grover P. and Virginia Evans Dyer, she was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Russell Dyer, Leon Dyer, Marion Dyer, Leona Dyer Wells and Mary Dyer Johnson.

She leaves her nephews and nieces, Gene and Mary Johnson and Don and Cheryl Johnson of Collierville, Tenn., Ronnie and Bonnie Johnson of Cordova, Tenn.; Rodney O'Neal of Blytheville, Leon "Buddy" Dyer of Rogers, Katherine and Bob O'Neal of Blytheville, Bettye and Gerrell Galloway, Fran Dyer and Sharon and Ronnie Webb, all of Paragould, and Shirley Steele of Memphis.

Funeral services will be held at noon Friday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Johnson officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until time for services. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Condolences may be emailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net.
