Alma Pauline Walker

Mrs. Alma Pauline Walker, 79, of Blytheville, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at White County Medical Center in Searcy. Born in Denton, Mo., to Archie Slater and Ida May (Burns) Cowell, she was a former employee of Borg-Warner where she worked the assembly line. Mrs. Walker was also a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Walker Sr. and sons Robert Walker Jr and Larry Walker.

Mrs. Walkerleaves her children, Tommy Joe (and Leda) Walker of Waterford, Calif., James Edward Walker of Blytheville and Ronald W. (and Theresa) Walker of Woodbridge, Va.;

A sister, Louella Lusk, and a sister-in- law, Lois Cowell both of Memphis; and

Nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joey Cowell officiating. Burial was private in Dogwood Cemetery. Condolences may be emailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net
