Mother's Day history recounted

For most everyone around the world, the celebration of Mother's Day is held on the second Sunday in May. On this day we dote on our moms, giving them gifts and the special attention that the so greatly deserve. But is was not always this way. One of the earliest recordings of society celebrating Mothers was during the time of the ancient Egyptians who held a festival to honor the Goddess Isis who was considered the Mother of the Pharaohs.
