Juanita Jones

Mrs. Juanita Jones, 92, died Monday, April 25, 2011, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born Nov. 30, 1918, in Cooter to Printy and Dicey Hart Byrd and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blytheville.

She was the wife of a farmer, having married the love of her life, V.M. "Bub" Jones Nov. 28, 1937. They had 62 years together before the Lord called him home.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, V.M. "Pee Wee" Jones Jr.

Mrs. Jones leaves her children, Judy Ann Jones Crosskno and her husband, Billy, of Blytheville, and Michael Gene Jones of Rives, Mo.;

A sister, Ruth Samford of Steele;

Her grandchildren, Cathy Crosskno Snow of Dallas, Lee Ann Crosskno Davis, of Memphis, Deanna Jones Allison of Cooter, Rick Jones of Kennett,, Mo., Chris Crosskno of Blytheville and Greg Jones of Gray, Maine;

Her great-grandchildren, Mallory Davis Dorrough of San Antonio, Texas, Jake Davis of Blytheville, Holly and Devin Jones of Kennett, Courtney Jones of Gray, Maine, Shelby and Quinn Crosskno of Blytheville, Logan and Sadie Snow of Dallas; and

One great-great-grandchild, Ella Claire Dorrough of San Antonio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville. Burial will be in Mount Zion in Steele. The family received friends Wednesday at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be e-mailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net
