Mildred Paulette Renfro Conley

Mrs. Mildred Paulette Renfro Conley, 68, of Blytheville died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro after a long illness. She worked in the jewelry department at Wal-Mart for many years, and loved it! She enjoyed being around people.

Before her illness, Mrs. Conley was fond of shopping and going to garage sales. She loved a bargain. She liked going to gospel singings, playing card games, listening to Elvis, and most of all, spending time with her family -- especially the little ones -- grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Food was not that important to her, but she really enjoyed the Mexican food that her granddaughter, Angel, prepared for her.

Christmas was her favorite time of the year, and she spent all year making plans and getting ready for the holiday season.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Renfro and Lula White Renfro; two sisters, Colleen Grigsby and Faye Bouie; and one brother, Chester Renfro Sr.

She leaves her husband, J.C. Conley of Blytheville;

One daughter, Beth Conley Harris;

One son, Michael Ellis;

Two granddaughters, Angel Wilson and Amanda Ellis;

Two grandsons, John Brothers (and Emily), and Jeremy Harris;

Four great-grandchildren, Nicholas Wilson, Nathaniel Wilson, Addie Brothers and Hayden Travis;

Four sisters, Elizabeth Childers of Bella Vista, Ann Owen of Jonesboro, Jamie Battles of Blytheville and Patsy Keener of Cave City;

Two brothers, Jack Renfro (and Janice) of Richardson, Texas, and Lamar Renfro (and Betty) of Steele.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Richardson officiating.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Carney Funeral Home. Interment will be in Carney Cemetery.
