Leonard Lee Vick

Mr. Leonard Lee Vick, 82, of Harrisburg, died Monday, April 4, 2011, at his home. He was born May 6, 1928, in Marietta, Ga., to George and Alverda Vick, who preceded him in death. He was an appliance repairman and of the Baptist belief.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Elbert Dean; and by four sisters and four brothers.

He leaves his wife, Lucy Ann Vick of Harrisburg;

Four daughters, Brenda (and Ronnie) Hall of Tyronza, Judith (and Max) Baney and Becky (and Ronnie) Bearden, both of Marked Tree, and Sharon Dean of Jonesboro;

Three sons, Leonard (and Tway) Vick Jr. of Rinzie, Miss., Michael (and Jean) Vick of Forrest City and Thomas Hoglan of Harrisburg; and

Ten grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Tyronza with Patrick Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Potter Cemetery at Lepanto under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Friday at the church.
