Ruby Christine McLaughlin South

Mrs. Ruby Christine McLaughlin South, 63, of Manila, died of heart failure Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at her home. Born in Winchester, she was a homemaker and a Pentecostal.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe William and Eliff McLaughlin; her husband, J.C. South; six sisters and five brothers.

Mrs. South leaves two daughters, Jeannie Lisk and Sara South of Manila;

Two sons, John South of Manila and Rickey South of Victoria;

Three brothers, Arrie McLaughlin of Bassett, Charles McLaughlin of Batesburg, and Zeke McLaughlin of Joiner; and

Eight grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Lee Dunn, will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow at Louise Chapel in Bassett.
