Louellen Carpenter Adams

Mrs. Louellen Carpenter Adams, 99, of Keiser, died Satuday, Jan. 15, 2011, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and a member of the Etowah Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Linnie Nash; her husband, Everett Adams; and by two daughters, one son and one grandson.

She leaves one son, Doyle Carpenter of Dyess;

Four daughters, Nita Henry of Keiser, Alline Thompson of Nepwort, Joyce Powell and Ella Mae Chaple, both of Indiana; and

Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren;

The family would like to recognize Laverne Austin for her special care and love for Mrs. Louellen.

Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. today in the chapel of Murphy Funeral Home of Lepanto with Rev. Huey Meherg officiating. Burial followed in Aldenbrook Cemetery in Desha.

Visitation was from 10 a.m. until time of services this morning at the funeral home.
