Alice Faye Tillman

Mrs. Alice Faye Tillman, 59, of Armorel, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Born in Reverie, Tenn., to Tony and Betty Godsey Atchley Sr., she retired from American Greetings where she was a secretary for 34 years and was a member of Armorel Baptist Church. Mrs. Tillman loved to spend time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, and was very patriotic and loved following politics and current events.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She leaves her husband, Harvey J. Tillman Jr. of the home;

Her mother, Betty Atchley of Keiser;

Two step-daughters, Angie Miller and her husband, Travis, and Christey McCormick and her husband, Matt, all of Blytheville;

Four brothers, Sam Atchley and Bobby Lynn Atchley, both of Keiser, Jimmy Wayne Atchley of Wilson and Tony Atchley of Lake City;

A sister, Deb Austin of Dyess;

Two grandchildren, Brooklyn and Blaine McCormick; and

A host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with Dr. Michael Priest officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
