A two-vehicle accident at 3 p.m. Monday at the intersection of East Rose and South Ruddle Road sent three children and an adult to the hospital with injuries, according to Blytheville Police. The three children, Elliott Wright, Kaitlyn Wright and Kalynn Wright, along with the driver, Nicole S. Wright, 29, of Blytheville, were in a northbound 2006 Chevrolet Trail Blazer on South Ruddle Road, when a 2002 Toyota Camry being driven eastbound on Rose by Ted C. Cage, 39, of Blytheville, allegedly pulled into the path of the Trail Blazer. The Camry struck the Trail Blazer in the driver's side, causing it to roll one time, landing on the driver's side in the middle of Ruddle Road. The three children, along with the Nicole Wright, were taken to Great River Medical Center for treatment of their non-life threatening injuries. Cage was ticketed for failure to yield at a stop sign and no proof of insurance. The Blytheville Fire Department cleaned up the gasoline and antifreeze fluids that were leaking from both vehicles in the street.
