Woman hurt when vehicle rolls off I-55

A Blytheville woman suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m. on Interstate 55 at the Burdette exit. According to authorities, Tashesa Wells, 22, was driving a Ford Explorer southbound when apparently she went off the left side of the road, lost control and ran off the right side of the roadway, overturning in the ditch. A witness said the vehicle rolled four times before stopping. Wells was transported to Great River Medical Center by Pafford EMS for treatment. The Arkansas State Police were assisted at the scene by the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department, Burdette Fire Department and Pyramid Automotive.
