Dancing for the Cure is April 14

On April 14, the annual Dancing for the Cure fundraiser will occur at the Ritz Civic Center. The event is a fundraiser for the North Mississippi County Relay For Life, which, according to Katie Thomason, is renowned across the country. Dancing for the Cure will take place at 7 p.m. that night and will star the Blytheville High School ballroom dance team and a member of the community who is either a survivor of cancer or closely connected someone who has battled with the disease...

School board approves bus drivers’ bonus

Bennett reflects on service on school board

Blytheville, Gosnell avoid major damage

Blytheville and Gosnell authorities reported no major damage from Tuesday evening’s storm. According to Blytheville assistant police chief Ricky Jefferson, “The only damage I that I know of so far are trees down at various locations and utility poles down on Debra Lane, North Highway 61 and a very large tree on a power line at 10th and Willow.”...
