The following are reports from the Blytheville Police Department. Thursday, July 30 -- Police are investigating a residential burglary in the 200 block of South Holland. The victim reported that their garbage can, wall heater, window air conditioning unit, and central air conditioning unit was stolen. The victim also stated that a window frame, a door frame and a floor model television were damaged in the process of the burglary...

Harper named new BPS safety director

Brandon Harper has been named the new Director of Safety and Security for the Blytheville School District. Harper, an Osceola native, worked with the Arkansas State Police for thirteen years, both in the Highway Patrol Division and in Criminal Investigations.
